About Biidii Gems
We source Tsavorite, Tanzanite, and Sapphire direct from East African mines — then cut and certify every stone in our own workshop before it reaches you.
The sourcing story
Biidii Gems began with one question: why do the world’s finest green stones travel through so many hands before reaching the people who use them?
Our team sources Tsavorite and Sapphire directly from mining communities in the Tsavo region of Kenya. Every parcel is evaluated in-field before travelling to our workshop, where our lapidary team cuts for brilliance and yield — not just weight.
Finished stones are submitted for GIA grading. What you receive is fully documented from ground to gemologist.
How we work
Every stone lists its mine region and country. We do not blend parcels or obscure provenance to simplify sourcing.
Our cutters optimise for optical performance. A heavier stone that performs poorly is not a better stone.
GIA grading reports ship with every stone. We do not issue in-house certificates or accept self-graded parcels from third parties.
